Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is steam distilled from the leaves, stems, and flower buds of peppermint plants. Like lavender, it has many benefits and uses and is one of the most common essential oils.

  • Energy

  • Heartburn
  • Heatstroke
  • Indigestion and IBS
  • Morning sickness
  • Motion sickness

Peppermint oil can be diffused, applied directly to the skin, or ingested (1 drop in 4oz of beverage). Peppermint oil is a "hot" oil, so it's recommended to dilute the oil with a carrier oil so as not to irritate the skin.
